At Mama Kuku’s Homestead—the pilot site for the Biocycle Hub—we are developing scalable models for circular, regenerative food systems tailored to rural and under-resourced communities. Our work integrates heliciculture (sustainable snail farming), organic waste recovery, and culturally grounded land stewardship to advance ecological resilience, food security, and economic equity. By combining inclusive design, community-driven storytelling, and applied agroecology, we aim to build systems that restore local ecosystems, strengthen social cohesion, and create viable pathways for shared prosperity.
