Deitra Roberts-Biely grew up in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains of Northwest Arkansas where her family farmed, nurtured, and appreciated the beauty of the natural world and all she had to offer. Many of the designs she’s incorporated in her jewelry today reflect her earliest memories of observing and exploring the intricate details of nature found in the flowers, grasses, and stones she’d collect while working and playing on that farmland.
The fossils and botanicals she’s spent the past several years collecting, molding, and designing into focal pieces are wonderous in their imperfections, which we can all relate to.
