🌎EarthShare partnership + teeny tiny hatchlings

On the twins’ birthday, we welcomed a new clutch of hatchlings at Mama Kuku’s Homestead—and I’ll never forget their curiosity! Poking, prodding, Favian quickly learned to gently handle the globular, crystalline shells—like rice krispies, quite easily crushed.

Crouching beside the soil tray, squinting in disbelief—his first time watching the snails emerge. They’re fragile, translucent, pinhead-sized grains, barely visible against the soil, unless sunlight caught them just right.

It reminds me of the first time Dimple-face saw fireflies—wide-eyed, still, and fully present. But these weren’t just snails. These were “our snails”—born from a vision, nurtured with care, and now tiny ambassadors of something bigger than us . . .

Behind the scenes, as I complete my kundalini yoga teacher training, what strikes me most is how these hatchlings mark time. The eggs are like seasonal lanterns, bursting open at the first signs of warmth and humidity. They remind me of natural rhythms that I, as a creative with vata constitution, have learned to explore and cherish.

As it turns out, slow is powerful. The most effective relationships, like the best systems, take time. After months of thoughtful vetting and deep conversations, Helical Healing Habitat, our 501 (c)(3) nonprofit is now officially partnered with EarthShare! Remember to check in—I will share more over the next few months.

If last year was our season of trial and error, this one feels different. Quiet mastery. Informed. Intentional. Ready.
